Facebook disabled your account due to “account integrity”? A lawyer may help you recover it

We have disabled your account. After reviewing your account, we determined that it still doesn't comply with our Community Standards policy on account integrity. You can't request another review of this decision

A few weeks ago, a client contacted me after receiving this message from Facebook:

„We have disabled your account. After reviewing your account, we determined that it still doesn’t comply with our Community Standards policy on account integrity. You can’t request another review of this decision.”

Unfortunately, this message has become all too common. Facebook (Meta) is increasingly disabling user accounts based on vague allegations of violating their “account integrity” policy – often without any real explanation.

In this client’s case, the account was authentic and in use for years. No suspicious behavior, no community guideline violations, no warnings. After the ban, the client was prompted to record a video selfie – turning their head left, right, up, and down. The verification was completed successfully… and nothing changed. The account remained disabled. Worse yet, Meta responded:

„You can’t request another review of this decision.”

Algorithmic error? Yes – and it’s happening more and more

My client is not alone. Similar complaints are now widespread. In fact, tens of thousands of users have signed a petition on Change.org demanding accountability from Meta:
🔗 Wrongfully disabling accounts with no human customer support

People report being locked out of their accounts permanently, without knowing why – and with no access to a human appeal process.

What did I do as a lawyer?

The client authorized me by sending a signed power of attorney and account details. As a Polish attorney (legal advisor) specializing in internet-related cases, I took legal action against Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which handles European Facebook and Instagram users.

I contacted Meta’s legal department and submitted formal arguments. After 5 weeks of proceedings, Meta reinstated the account. The issue was resolved.

I’ve handled many such cases

This was not the first case – I’ve handled dozens of similar disputes involving Meta. Some examples include:

  • False accusations of “account integrity violations,”

  • Accounts disabled due to incorrect links to other Instagram users,

  • Even unjustified claims involving content related to child exploitation (which were entirely false).

When Facebook or Instagram makes a wrongful decision – I help recover the account.
