Who am I?
My name is Tomasz Lewandowicz, and I am a legal advisor specializing in the protection of internet users’ rights.
Why did I choose this particular specialization? Well, I have always been fascinated by new technologies and the opportunities they offer. Thanks to them, after completing my law studies at the University of Gdańsk in 2010, I was able to move with my family to the Suwałki region while working remotely (a decade before the COVID era) for a law firm in the Tri-City area that served major domestic and international companies. Without new technologies, this wouldn’t have been possible.
However, as with all technology, there is always the other side of the coin. The threats, dangers, and issues that arise from the internet affect all of us. This is the area I decided to focus on.
How did it all start?
My journey into the world of internet rights protection began when a client came to me with a problem of a blocked Facebook account. She was the owner of a language school, and hackers had stolen her fan page – the main platform for advertising and customer contact.
Facebook, as is often the case with tech giants, wasn’t too keen on addressing the issue. For quite some time, they consistently ignored all complaints, requests, and even threats. But, as they say, „the stone met the sword.” Thanks to carefully prepared legal documents, we managed to regain full access to the fan page. The satisfaction was immense – for both my client and me. At that moment, I realized that it is indeed possible to win against internet giants.
David and Goliath
This leads to my favorite analogy – David and Goliath. Just as David stood against Goliath with a stone and a sling, I face internet giants every week armed with… legal knowledge and carefully crafted legal letters. And most importantly – it works! With my 14 years of legal practice, I’ve been able to ensure that digital platform owners respect my clients’ rights, step by step.
Why do I do this?
New technologies offer us immense opportunities, but when something goes wrong, we, ordinary users, often find ourselves at a disadvantage. Tech companies tend to ignore problems, especially if you’re not spending millions on advertising with them.
I refuse to accept a system where big corporations do whatever they want just because they’re… well, big. I believe that even the largest internet Goliath should respect the rights of every internet user.
How can I help you?
If you’re here, something has probably gone wrong for you on the internet. Maybe your Facebook or Instagram account was blocked, and you’ve lost access to a fan page in which you invested years of work and significant resources. Maybe you’ve scoured the web for solutions and asked your IT-savvy friends for advice, but none of the tips have worked. Perhaps the help center of the internet giant that violated your rights is ignoring your messages or brushing you off with formulaic responses about challenging decisions through the courts.
Such situations are quite common. On my blog, you’ll find stories where I explain how I’ve assisted clients in similar cases. I encourage you to explore them. If you need personalized legal assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer remote services to clients worldwide, and all communication is handled in English via email at kontakt@twojeprawawinternecie.pl or through the contact form here.
